April Fools Party (special Server Test event extended!)

Hello Penguins!

What a day! The April Fools Party launched today and there sure is a lot to see! I hope you get a chance to check it out over the weekend. There are tons of hidden surprises all over the island and a lot of the rooms have been redrawn in some really wacky and different styles! Be sure to check out all the different areas! Try getting together with a couple friends and see how many secrets you can find if you work together. 

As always, let us know what your favorite part of the party is and even what you’d like to see next time. The party will be around until April 2nd! Have fun!!

In other news: Earlier today we announced a special April Fools event that would take place ONLY on Server Test between 10 am and 4 pm. After hearing from a lot of you about how much fun you were having with it, we decided to extend it! It will be up on Server Test all weekend. Special Project!

Hello Penguins!

A couple of weeks ago a special project got underway in Club Penguin. A number of you may have already heard about it through friends. It’s called the Club Penguin Improvement Project (known as CPIP). 

The Club Penguin Improvement Project will help make Club Penguin better, faster and hopefully even more fun! One major part of this project is testing new servers. Those of you who have already joined Server Test have been doing a great job testing the new servers and reporting any bugs you find.

I wanted to remind everyone about it because we are planning a really CRAZY special event for April Fools that is different from the party and will ONLY be on the test servers. I don’t want any of you to miss it!

I don’t want to ruin the surprise so I can’t tell you what it is, but here’s a hint: when you login to Server Test you will see Club Penguin through different eyes! Believe me, we’ve never done ANYTHING like it on Club Penguin before!

If you want to check it out, here’s what to do:

(to access the page be sure to click on the “eye scanner 3000″

- Sign up for Server Test and login

Everything you need to know about Server Test is there–and I post on the CPIP blog every week.

Where This Years Easter Eggs Are!!!!!!

Well as everyone here knows, the egg hunt is here.

Here are where the eggs are. On the left is the clue and then on the right, is where the egg is. Some of you even told me where the eggs were in my last post! Although I moderated comments after the hunt…

 

The item is the ‘Green Bunny Ears’.

It goes well with the brown bunny suit.

The last egg is kinda hard to get cause it floats around alot. Its a Ninja type egg. Wonder if its a clue…

Migrator Construction

Hello Penguins,

Check out the Migrator at the Beach! A big development occurred today! There has sure been a lot of progress made on the ship in the last few weeks and it’s definitely starting to look a lot more like the Migrator we remember! A lot of you are curious about when and how Rockhopper will return and what will happen to the Aqua Grabber when ship is totally finished. I can’t say a lot right now, but I can say that all those questions will be answered in the next few weeks! I’ll have a bit more info soon. For any of you who haven’t been in Club Penguin for a while, check out the Club Penguin Times archive in the Boiler Room. You can read up on the Save the Migrator project.

In other news: This weekend, from March 21 to 24,  is the Easter Egg scavenger hunt. Be sure to check it out!

New Festival

The St.patrick’s day party is here!!It’s a little better than last year is my opinion.Last year,there was a band in the night club for the St patricks day party and this year it’s the same thing!                           Also,in the night club watch the dance floor.It will be different colors a few times and then……it will be a four leaf clover!

Next,the free item is a St. patricks day hat.Sadly,there is only 1 free item which is the hat. The Hat is located at the ski village.

On the clubpenguin home page,if you clicked “what’s new” and saw that billybob posted a sneak peek of something,i was thinking it was a new catalog that Cp hasn’t told us in the newspaper.But then when i looked on the computer…..it was something different.

                                        It wasn’t a catalog.It was a yearbook from 2005 to 2006!!!!If you look on the first page,then it says all about the beta party.

The  space adventure play is back at the stage.I did not want it to be though!But,there is something new in the play.There is a switchbox machine just like other plays!Click the switch all the way to the right and a puffle will come flying!

The new pin came out and it is located at the boiler room.You have to push the  pin down by opening where the newspapers are.

if you press up down left and right at the same time and hold them down you will start to find the game a bit easer by the way it does take a bit of time to get used to and sometimes it makes mistakes

New Sports Catalog!

Hello Penguins!

I hope you all enjoyed Screenhog’s post about pins yesterday. I even learned a few things! Which reminds me, a new pin was hidden today so be sure you get together with some friends and search for it!

There are a lot of you who have been wondering when the Sport Shop would be updated with a new catalog. Well, we updated it today and there’s some cool new stuff in there! As always, we would love to hear what you like and even what you don’t like. 

In other news: It looks like everyone is working hard to find pieces of Rockhopper’s ship.. Check out The Beach to see what I mean!  If you want to help, go to the iceburg and click on the submarine!

Pin Rules

 

Hi everyone. It’s me, Screenhog.

Are you a pin collector? Then this blog post is for you, because I’m going to tell you the rules we follow when we hide pins!

Rule 1: If we’ve hidden a pin in a room, we won’t hide another pin in that room for at least two months. So, for instance, the Anchor is hidden in the Cove, so we won’t hide another pin there until at least May.

Rule 2: We won’t hide a pin in the Town Center. That room is the busiest room in Club Penguin.

Rule 3: We won’t hide a pin in the HQ. Not all penguins are agents, so they wouldn’t get to go there.

Rule 4: A pin won’t be hidden on Rockhopper’s Ship. Rockhopper doesn’t usually stay for two weeks, and we don’t want him to leave with the pin!

Rule 5: We try not to hide a pin in the same place twice. The next time a pin comes to the Cove, we’re not going to hide it on the log by the bonfire.

Rule 6: Pins usually look like something related to a recent update. The Anchor was related to Rockhopper’s ship, and the next pin… hmm, should I give you a hint about what the next pin will be? Sure, why not?

 

Pins are pretty small, so it’s hard to give a hint without giving it away, but try to guess what the next pin will be, and see if you’re right when it comes out tomorrow!

March Sneak Peek!!

Hello Penguins!

You all know that I like to give everyone a sneak peek when we’ve got some big things on the way.  Not only does this give you something to look forward to, but it also allows you to let your friends know so they don’t miss it.

Just to give you an idea of how big the next month is, here are a few things we have planned!

• TWO Awesome Parties!
• A Brand New Game!
• A Sport Shop catalog Update with a new Game Upgrade!
• A Scavenger Hunt!
• And as always: New Pins, New Clothes, New Furniture,  And More!

We’re also working on some top secret stuff we can’t share yet, but that will be coming out over the next few months.  Its going to be fun!

In other news:  Today we launched an update to Aqua Grabber (the new game).  It should be running a lot smoother for everyone.  If you tried it out over the weekend and it wasn’t running well, give it another try and let us know if its working better!

New Furniture!!

Hello Penguins!

As the party comes to an end, we wanted to give you a way to continue to celebrate!  So we just launched some brand new “Underwater” furniture for your igloo!  Not only that, but if you want the fish bowl igloo to go with it, that is hidden somewhere in the “Igloo Update” catalog.  Have fun finding it and let us know if you need any help!

In other news:  We’ve heard that the new “Aqua Grabber” game is running slowly for some of you.  We are working on some fixes and hope to have it running properly for everyone very soon!
