Cereal Box Switch
Remove the plastic bags from cereal boxes and switch them around. Your victim will scratch his head wondering why Cheerios came out of a box of Lucky Charms.
Mail Box Prank
After the mail has already been delivered, fill the mail box with ping pong balls or packing nuts. Then ask someone else to go get the mail.
Lottery Ticket Swap
This one takes some pre-planning. All you have to do is buy someone a lotto ticket today and tomorrow go out early and buy another ticket with the exact same numbers as the winning ticket from yesterday. When the victim of your prank isn’t paying attention swap the newer ticket with the old one. When the person looks in the paper for the winning numbers, he or she won’t even realize the date is wrong on the ticket and will believe it is the big winner.
Bend Over Splits
Place a dollar bill on the floor and as people walk by and try to pick the dollar up, you stand nearby and tear a small piece of cloth. It will sound as if the victim of the prank actually split their pants and most of the time they will check their rear and leave in embarrasement.
Push or Pull
Print out some signs that read, “Push” and “Pull” and tape them to doors at your local stores. Make sure to place them on the wrong side. Then sit back and watch as people push when they are instructed to pull and vise versa
Shoe Polish Phone Prank
Coat the reciever of someone’s phone with shoe polish and then give them a call. Instant gratification. Make sure you match the colors of the polish and the phone. Small amounts of shaving cream work too.
Upside Down Cup
Fill a cup with water about half way. Then place an index card over the cup. Then turn the cup upside down on your co-worker’s desk. Finally, carefully slide the index card out from underneath the cup. Whenever your co-worker decides to pick the cup up, he will be drenched in water.
Bar Of Soap Lather Prank
Take some nail polish and coat a bar of soap with it. Let it dry. Then put it in the bathroom shower. When your victim tries to use it, he or she will go nuts trying to get it to lather up.
Ypto Ypto…errr!!! TYPO!
Be carefull with this one, as to not ruin the keyboard. All you have to do is simply and very carefully remove a few keys and switch them around. If your victim is one of those “look up and down” typers. He or she will be very confused while trying to get work done.
Confusing Drawers
Before your co-worker arrives at the office remove his desk drawers and switch them around. He will definantly scratch his head over this one. Hint: In case you cannot remove the drawers, just remove the items and swap them.
Computer Pranks!
Black On Black
Change the prompt on someones computer to be black on black. This is rather cruel if the person is computer illiterate. Very effective the day before a big project is due.
Did You Hear That?
It is possible to play sounds remotely on some workstations. (Sun SparcStations for instance) You can have all kinds of fun playing sounds like flushing toilets and other unusual sounds. Works best if the person is a relative newbie.
Porno On The Overhead
Run a XXX-GIF slide show on the overhead computer projectors found in many computer rooms and large lecture halls. Very effective if done before a large class. You may wish to superglue the drive doors shut as well as all the relevant power switches in the “on” position and the power cables to the wall and hide the keyboard.
Formatting C
Write a small program that prints “Formatting C:” and starts printing a series of dots at intervals afterwards. Simulate disk access by contiuously creating and deleting an empty text file.
Problems Printing
Write a daemon that sends each individual page of a print job to a different printer on the network. Select the printer at random.
Voice Recognition Technology
Put an intercom inside a machine and then convince some nerd that it is an AI with voice recognition.
Hypnotic Virus
Convince a newbie that there has been a virus going around that presents hypnotic patterns on the screen which can really mess up your mind. Then start up remotely or set to start at a particular time a fractal program of some sort. They’ll probably panic big time.
Keyboard Difficulties
Write a TSR that turns the keyboard on and off at short intervals. You’ll watch the person try keyboard after keyboard. Can also swap keys using ANSI.SYS or xmodemap depending on the system.
How did this XXX image get here?
Convert a XXX image to a bitmap and make it someone’s OS/2 or Windows backround. You can also change the backround of someone’s X-Windows session remotely as well as make picture appear and they can’t stop you. (use XV or a similar program)
Fun With A Mac Floppy Disk
Rig the spring in a Macintosh floppy drive to fire the disk a goodly distance from the machine upon ejection.

Keep On Ringing
If you know someone that uses a phone with a hook that presses down when the handset is in the craddle, then tape that part down. When the person tries to answer a call it will just keep on ringing and ringing.
20+ cups on desk
Fill about 20 or more paper cups up with water, place them next to each other on your victims desk. Then staple them all together, stand back and watch as he/she arrives at work and is clueeless about how to go about removing the cups off the desk.
The Zoo called
Call someone at the office while they are away and leave a message saying Mr. Lyon (or Mr. Behr) called and would appreciate a call back. Then leave the phone number for the local zoo on the answering machine for this person to call.
Mouse Trap
If you know someone that uses an optical mouse, place a small post it note over the eye of the mouse. When your victim tries to use their mouse it won’t work. When they decide to look underneath it, they will see a small posted that reads, “April Fools”

Where are those paperclips?
Make a few copies of paperclips then put those copies back inside the paper tray. Whoever uses the copier next will get their copies with those paperclips on them and will look all over trying to hunt them down.
Stale Donuts
About a week before the prank, buy a box of donuts. Keep them in the refridgerator with the top open so they can dry out. On the day of the prank, place the box of donuts near the office coffee pot so anyone with a morning sweet tooth can indulge.
Pick Up The Entire Phone
Wrap a very small piece of wire around the phone cord so both ends are tied together. When the phone rings and your victim goes to pick up the receiver, he will up with the entire phone base with it.
Confusing Drawers

Pen Swap
Take all of your co-wrokers pens and replace them with your pens that your glued caps on to the night before. He will not be able to take the caps off to use the pens.
Bathroom Pranks!
Stuck In The Bathroom
Remove the bathroom door knob and put it back on the reverse way so the lock is on the outside. Then push the button or turn to lock the door. Remember to leave the door open. Now, whoever is next to use the bathroom, will not even notice this and he will lock himself inside.
Salty Toothpaste
Sprinkle some salt on your victim’s toothbrush. When this person goes to brush their teeth, he or she will get a salty tasted treat.
Shower Before Entering
If you know someone who turns on the shower before actually entering the tub area. Then before their next shower, turn the showerhead so it faces outside the shower area. Most people don’t even look up before turning the nozzle.
Shampoo Shower Prank
Glue a bottle of shampoo to the shower shelf (to avoid damage, use clear caulk on a surface that can be scraped).

Glue all the bottles of shampoo shut so they cannot be opened.
Terrible Aim
Sprinkle some water with yellow food coloring all over the toilet seat and floor. It will look like whoever used the toilet before you was a terrible aimer.
Cream Cheese Deodorant
Scrape off about an inch or so of your victim’s deodorant and replace it with cream cheese. It will take a few minutes to sculpt the cheese in place to look like the deodorant. When finished, put the lid back on and back where you found the deodorant. When your victim needs to freshen up again, he will get a cream cheese surprise
Food Coloring In Hand Soap Dispenser
Put some food coloring inside the hand soap dispenser. When your victim tries to wash his hands, they will end up worse than before he decided to wash them.
Urinate Forever
Impress a buddy who is in a room next to the bathroom. Excuse yourself to go to the bathroom, but along the way get a large bucket with water and take it in with you. Then slowly pour it in the toilet. It will take forever to finish pouring it all in. Your buddy in the room next door will say, “WOW” as he will think you are taking a very very long pee
